For our partner Top Line d.o.o., the company behind Benetke.com, we managed the procurement of a 300-passenger catamaran built in China, valued at USD 7.5 million.

Top Line is currently the only operator providing regular passenger connections from Istria to Venice, running six days a week from May 1st to September 30th.

Result: Just before the scheduled delivery, we received a new offer 30 % above the original purchase value. The catamaran was sold before leaving the shipyard, and a new order was placed under significantly improved financial terms.

Outcome: A perfect demonstration of how Smart Sourcing and strategic timing can generate substantial profit even before delivery — while supporting the expansion of one of the Adriatic’s most successful passenger projects.
